Armshaw Lowe - a possible long barrow. (2)

Survey of 10.4.61 unchanged. A large, elongated, earthen mound
oriented E - W, with sides merging into the natural contours of the
ground, and a wide flat top. There are no traces of a ditch. The
mound is not a long barrow, but a debased round barrow. (3)

SE 044 351. Almshaw Lowe, Brow Moor, Oxenhope. Exploration of a site on Brow Moor known as Almshaw Lowe proved it to be bed-rock and not a barrow. (4)
